Excused Absences

WHAT ABSENCES ARE EXCUSED ?
Student absences are classified as excused or unexcused. Parents may only excuse two absences per nine weeks.
Student absences may be excused for the following reasons:
1. Personal illness of the student
2. Death in the immediate family
3. Legal quarantine
4. Emergency conditions as determined by the principal
5. Prior permission of the principal and consent of parent or legal guardian
6. Inclement weather, as determined by the principal
