About Me: 

My name is Mallory Holmes and I cannot express how excited I am to be teaching at Sumiton Middle this year! This will be my second year teaching and luckily, I get to teach one of my favorite subjects. I live in the Pineywoods community with my family, whom I am very close with. I have a dog named Patrick who is practically my son and a cat named Tallulah. My education began at Sipsey Jr. High where I attended Kindergarten through 8 th grade. From there, I attended and graduated from Curry High School in 2012. In 2018, I graduated from the University of North Alabama (Roar Lions!) with a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education. When I am not in the classroom, I am usually going to as many concerts as I can, reading, or spending time with my family watching Alabama football (Roll Tide!). It is an absolute blessing to be able to teach at Sumiton Middle and I can’t wait to see what the school year brings!
