Agriculture, Food & Natural ResourcesHorticulture is the intensive study of plants across the areas of science, technology, and business. An education in horticulture can prepare a student for occupations on local as well as international levels of operation. Our program prepares students for jobs in landscape design and maintenance and a variety of other career opportunities.

College: Wallace State Community College
Wallace State offers Assoc. Degrees of Applied Sciences, Long Term Certificates, Short Term Certificates in Agriculture. In addition, students can enroll in a 2+2 Poultry Science program that partners with Auburn University.
Wallace State has no minimum grade or score requirements for students who earn the Alabama High School Diploma, but all students must complete the COMPASS Placement Test prior to admission.
