About Me: 

I attended Sumiton Christian High School where I cheered and played volleyball, basketball, and softball. As a student athlete, I scored over 1,000 career points in basketball, joining the 1,000 point club at SCHS. I was honored to receive the Daily Mountain Eagle Basketball Player of the Year during both my junior and senior season. I graduated from SCHS in 2011 and attended Bevill State Community College on an Ambassador Scholarship for two years. Continuing my education at UAB, I graduated in 2016 with a Bachelor's Degree in Kinesiology and was the recipient of UAB's Physical Education Teacher Certification Student of the Year. In the summer of 2016, I accepted a wonderful job at Sumiton Middle School and have greatly enjoyed my time here. On a more personal note, I married my husband, Matthew Hacker, in the summer of 2013, and we are expecting our first baby in July of 2018.
