Precision Machining

    This program prepares students for careers in the growing and changing field of machining. These careers focus on fabricating, operating, modifying, and regulating the use of mechanical instruments to create specific parts for clients. The necessary knowledge for this field touches on mathematics, metal properties and mechanics.

    College: Bevill State Community College

    • Bevill State offers a Machine Tool Technology Program at the Sumiton and Hamilton Campuses. The College offers an Associate in Applied Science and Long and Short Term Certificates.

    Bevill State has no minimum grade or score requirements for students who earn the Alabama High School Diploma, but all students must complete the COMPASS Placement Test prior to admission.
