The philosophy of the Principles
of Technology program is to prepare students for technical
careers. The complexity and rapid change of modern
technology require training that is applicable to more
than a single job. Technicians must understand the
mechanical, fluid, electrical and thermal principles
on which modern equipment operates.
|
|
|
If
technicians understand the principles on which their current
work is based, they can apply those principles to new tasks
as the need arises.
