The development of student knowledge, attitudes, and skills necessary to become productive and contributing citizens and lifelong learners is the primary goal for the program. Since learning does not proceed at the same rate and in the same manner in every individual, creative teaching-learning methods should be utilized to meet individual needs and to provide the experience necessary for learning.

Healthcare maintains conditions necessary for the preservation of life and promotion of health for the client and/or significant others. Students who are introduced to careers in the healthcare fields and have the opportunity to gain practical experiences in the field will provide society with committed, qualified healthcare professionals.
