The purpose of Drafting
and Design Technology is to prepare students to enter
Drafting or other related career paths. Skills training
is to prepare students for entry level employment as
well as a start to build lifelong learning to fulfill
career objectives.

for post-secondary training in the student's chosen field

2. Prepare students for work in Drafting and its related
areas.
3. Encourage students to finish high school.
4. Assist in preparing students to pass the graduation
