The philosophy of the Business Education program is that all students can learn and become responsible, productive citizens with a sense of personal fulfillment and the ability to understand and cope with a constantly changing workplace and society.

Students develop skills through a group of planned, sequenced, specialized instructional programs structured to prepare them to enter, to advance and to refine prescribed competencies for employment in business occupations.

PROGRAM OBJECTIVES

1. To promote character growth and development including human relations, good work habits, positive attitudes toward fulfillment of responsibilities, and establishment of standards of ethical values.

2. To develop the skills of logical thinking, communication, problem solving, and decision making.

3. To provide preparation for immediate employment.

4. To offer a basis for further study in business.
PROGRAM STRENGTHS

Equipment and software are kept up-to-date to meet business standards.

2. Students gain leadership skills through FBLA.
