The philosophy of the Business Education
program is that all students can learn and become responsible,
productive citizens with a sense of personal fulfillment
and the ability to understand and cope with a constantly
changing workplace and society.

Students develop skills through a group of planned, sequenced,
specialized instructional programs structured to prepare
them to enter, to advance and to refine prescribed competencies
for employment in business occupations.

OBJECTIVES |
1. To promote character
growth and development including human relations, good
work
habits, positive
attitudes toward fulfillment of responsibilities, and
establishment of standards of ethical values.
2. To develop the skills of logical thinking, communication,
problem solving, and decision making.
3. To provide preparation for immediate employment.
4. To offer a basis for further study in business. |

Equipment and software are kept up-to-date to meet business standards.
2. Students gain leadership skills through FBLA.
3. Teachers attend workshops to keep abreast of current trends.
4. Funds are provided to sufficiently maintain the Business Education
Department.
The program is business and industry certified.
