Townley Jr. High School, widely known as Townley School, offers the best education possible for students in headstart  through the eighth grade. Established in Townley, Alabama, in 1880 as a one-teacher school, Townley School now provides 16 teachers and 15 support personal to serve approximately 225 students. Parents and students are drawn to the school by its small school atmosphere, its history of academic and athletic excellence and the tremendous "Tiger Pride" that is evidenced by the faculty, staff, parents and community. 

Townley School's low pupil-teacher ratios, small school atmosphere and tradition of excellence continues to draw students to a pleasant educational setting. The faculty and staff are dedicated to developing confident, self-reliant students who will become responsible, productive citizens.
