School's Mission Statement:
Parrish Elementary School will assist students in becoming responsible, successful, competent leaders of tomorrow by providing a positive learning environment with high expectations.
Parrish Elementary has the moovingest lunch ladies in the state. They dressed for School Milk Day.

Welcome to Parrish, home of the Tornadoes!
Parrish Elementary was built in the present location to replace the old school building after it burned in September of 1976. The school was housed on mobile classrooms while the new building was being built. In 1979, the whole of Parrish Elementary was again under one roof; it included grades K-8. The type of building was a new concept (four classrooms in a pod with a common area in the middle). So much space that new students can actually get lost going from one section of the school to another. A Head Start class was added in 1981 and in 1986, the 7th and 8th Grades were moved to the High School. A few years later we outgrew the building and in 1989, six classrooms were added to the south end. We now have Head Start through the 6th Grade.
Mr. Walton reads with some of fourth graders in the office. We are blessed to have a principal who is actively involved with our student's education.
Congratulations to Mrs. Freeman for winning a $1,000.00 grant from
