My teaching goal is to foster critical thinking and problem solving capabilities and to facilitate the acquisition of lifelong learning skills. I believe it is integral for students to recognize that their education has real life relevance and that everyone has the capacity to learn. It is important to me that my students recognize that they are not only members of our immediate learning community, but also future local, regional and global participants who have the potential for improving humanity. It is a privilege to help our scholar pursue his/her dreams.

My name is Kim Wilson. I am 31 years old. This is my second year to teach 7th and 8th grade math at Lupton. I believe mathematics is a tool to help students learn to think. Understanding the process in order to solve math related problems is the main goal in my class. I look forward to getting to know the students and teach them math this school year.
