I grew up in Jasper, attended Jasper City Schools and graduated from the University of Alabama. I have been employed at Lupton as a teacher or administrator since 1972. I enjoy golf, art and reading.

I have been in education for 28 years, three years of those as assistant principal. I have taught grades 2-8. I am married to Stan, a retired fireman, and we have one son, Will who is 21 who will soon be a registered nurse.
