Cordova High School

Welcome to Cordova High School,
home of the Blue Devils!

Cordova High School  is located in Cordova, Alabama just 40 miles west of Birmingham and serves approximately 260 9-12th grade students. The school was established in 1940 and over the years has exemplified a tradition of excellence in academics, as well as, extracurricular activities.

C.H.S. became SACS accredited in 1999 and 40 - 60 percent of seniors each year receive some type of college scholarship. Students at C.H.S. are provided access to two computer labs equipped with the latest state of the art technology. The labs have 47 computers with Internet access. 

C.H.S. is proud to boast two football state championships (1963, 1995), three girl's softball state championships (1994, 1995, 1997), two state cheerleading championships (1998, 1999), and an award winning Blue Devil band. In 1999, the cheerleaders also won the Southeast Regional Championship and competed at nationals in Disney World.
