Ms. Donna Reed

Hello, my name is Donna Reed.

I am a transplant to this area-but as it is said "Bloom where you are planted." I grew up in Birmingham and moved here when I graduated from Auburn University in 1978 and got a job in the Walker County School system.
 

I have three beautiful children of whom I am very proud - Jenny, Patrick, & Katy. They are doing well in their endeavors. The first year I taught kindergarten, I had 30 students in a small trailer! Boy, improvements sure have been made since. But I loved it then and I love it now. I thank the Lord for his wisdom & guidance in teaching me how to be able to teach these students.

AT HOME:

    - read to your child

    - take them to the library

    - point to words as you read

    - support them in homework

    - listen & talk to your child

    - restrict T.V.

    - enjoy everyday because they grow up to fast
