I began my education here at Cordova Elementary! After graduating from Cordova High, I went to school at the University of Alabama where I received a B.A. degree in Elementary Education. I then continued my education at UAB where I received a M.A. in Early Childhood Education.
 

I began teaching kindergarten in 1989. I taught at several schools in the county before returning to my roots. I loved being a student at Cordova Elementary and now I love teaching at Cordova Elementary!

I am married to a Cordova native, Mark Palmer, and we have a wonderful daughter that we enjoy very much.

There is nothing more exciting than seeing a classroom of eager children discover the thrill of learning! I have always enjoyed teaching kindergarten for this reason.
